Think of the children.
too many doo gooders and nosey parkers in villages that's the trouble
Aye, damn do-gooders wanting to live in a nice quiet and safe place. Who do they think they are eh?
Notice you didn't mention the two people killed in the link i posted by a motorcyclist.
How are they harming anyone? Such a nanny state we live in and nimbys like op are the reason.
Yes I am and I hope to stay a child as long as possible ( in my mind) instead of a boring old ****. I love watching people do traffic light GP's and the sound, even from the braaaaaaappp Honda's. I used to chill in this spot for years overlooking a 2x2 lane road where loads of people would sprint off from the light, l enjoyed watching the cars and bikers take off there. If you find loud noises fun you're 1 step off being a child
I'm probably guilty of this. If I wake up on a nice sunny morning then I'm straight out of bed and into my leathers. Quick cig while the bike warms up and then I'm out for a good hour blast before breakfast. I usually follow the same route and I bet there are many bikers who do the same. When your caning along a nsl road and then come to a village you can ease off and think your going slow but still be doing well over the limit.
Annoy the crap out of the council and get them to fit a average speed camera system, done wonders for the boy racers in my mums village.

You fiend, how dare you have fun, and to talk about such actions on this, a motors forum, surrounded by non fun having car owners where we talk about MPG and where best to ensure that extra 0.01% finance on a Golf 1.2 blue motion non sport edition.
Why have you started posting again? I thought you'd left![]()
Speed limits
47% of cars exceeded a 30mph speed limit in 2011, while 49% went faster than 70mph on a motorway. The proportions of motorcyclists breaking the same speed limits were similar, at 50% and 49% respectively.
The figures for articulated heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) were considerable higher, with 71% exceeding the single carriageway 40mph limit and more than four in five breaking the 50mph limit on dual carriageways.
