Spider bite ?

Man up and give it a squeeze. If nothing happens then cover a needle in savlon/germoline and shove it in. That'll stop the infection that will otherwise result in gangrene spreading over your whole body.

could be one of those bugs that burrow into your skin and live there. Thats just me being paranoid after watching Body Shock years ago with some guy having loads of things living in his head without him knowing!

just looks like u been pricked by a plant or rose spike ;)

pop it and clean it off and TCP it give it a few days if no change its doctor time.

Not sure how massive people think the spiders are in the uk if they expect 2 puncture marks.

Even if it was that big, he surely would have noticed it.

ps I'm not worried my hand is going to fall off or anything - just was genuinely interested to see what people thought (:) ) as never had a bite or whatever it is look like that before

seems quite a few of our uk spiders bite ! just we don't come in contact with them much and they are not aggressive

we do have one quite nasty spider though ... T. agrestis otherwise known as the Hobo spider ... look up these in the states and they are quite feared ! bites can cause necrosis etc .... yes we do get them in the UK ... look for one in your shed !

why are they not known about much in the UK and are certainly not feared ... well because the T. gigantea or common large house spider preys on them - therefore tend to keep them out of the house. In the US they don't have T. gigantea.

not to worry anyone though - they are very difficult to tell apart !
