Spider population boom?

Has anyone else noticed a suddenly increase in spiders recently? In the last 3 days we've had at least 1 on those huge ones each day plus several small ones.

Can't say I have... Though I heard slugs are on the rise this year.

I've had to kill about a million of those gangly massive spiders...

also just sucked up a massive house spider with the hoover

We've had loads of them, but not small ones, the ones that stare you in the eyes and smile before ripping your foot off.

Yep seen a massive one run under my bed yesterday evening, i couldnt sleep because every little 'twitch' i had on my skin i thought was that spider

Seen plenty about, i now keep my window shut. I always seem to find a massive one somewhere in the house! However much im afraid of spiders, i could never harm one, i always have to wrestle with my fear to capture it and set it free!!
