Spiderman

I've been wondering the same, I don't really use a controller very often and currently just have a wired 360 one, but I'd be tempted to invest if it makes a real difference to the experience. Though I guess the PS5 controller won't be as easily compatible with other games.

Should be. Steam has Dualshock compatibility. Though I went with the Xbox Elite 2 Controller since you can adjust the triggers, short, medium or long presses. Stick curve adjustments, stick tension and setting up your own profiles for whatever game. As well as configuring all 4 rumble motors.

I'm currently using a standard wireless xbox pad (series x?) the one with the textured grips.

It's a substantial step up from a wired 360 pad.

I've never really considered a PlayStation pad as I figure the xbox pads will always be more compatible.

I decided to buy the PS5 controller and try it out. It's very comfortable to use. I think I prefer it over my Elite 2.

FYI it looks like Miles Morales is coming to PC too for those that were not aware.

I don't play many games, but have just finished the story mode on this. Loved it! great game!!

A few crashes and managed to swing into a building that I shouldn't have. Luckily I could fast travel out

Can't wait for the Myles game next

Only just got it last night with a redeem code with the GPU purchase and played for about an hour. It's not the sort of game I would usually buy, but I am liking it. Looks great, very smooth mechanics and I hoping I've barely scratched the surface content wise, otherwise I can see it becoming very repetitive. Quite tricky remembering all the various moves and controls though, especially in the heat of battle.

I finished this the other day and am pretty torn. I'd read some comments before I started about all the busy work but I couldn't have imagined how bad it was, one of the worst examples in any game. It's a shame because the core of the game is superb, they've nailed swinging round the city, the combat is great, as are the main missions and story, but the rest really lets it down as a whole. There were occasions where I was finding it boring and tedious, but got back to the main story and it was great again.

Been playing a little more this evening and I'm finding it very repetitive. The combat is feeling a little like a frantic mess of clicking - although that's probably more me lol I'll maybe persevere a little more later on.

I'm having the exact same experience. It's one of those games I can pick up for an hour, but it's very repetitive.

Looks and performs great, though.

My son said much the same when he played it on PS4. And when you ramp up the difficulty or play NG+ all that happens is there are more enemies and they have more health. They don’t react or act or do anything different. Very little reason to replay it he said.
