I get stuff in my keyboard all the, so much so that I replace my keyboard quite regularly! Just get one of these it's cheap to replace and, honestly, one of the nicest keyboards I've used.

The Apple keyboard is actually very nice to use

It's friggin awesome! You can make it beer resistant as a plus
I like it cuz I can plug my mouse into the back of it and the keyboard into my monitor
