spinpoint 1tb probslems

im thinking of buying 1 or 2 1TB spinpoint's

i heard a few problems lately though about them on 680I chipset not running running ncq?

has thuis issue been fixed?
was it even a issue?
have any of you experienced these probs?

looking to buy a fast 1TB drive

check in Device Manager and select hard drive and see if it enable NCQ - it usual enable NCQ as default.
