spinpoint F3 making weird noises

My 3 month old F3 1TB drive has started get really noisy and can hear it accessing all the time. I've also noticed delayed start-up time and apps seem to be slower opening, i've ran atto disk benchmark and it's still hitting 130mb read and write speeds, Do you think a re-install may help
