That is because The Old Firm fans fight an endless battle of oneupmanship for all eternity. The irony is they know they cannot live without each other.

The rest of us wish to talk about the football. Can we not just ban any old firm fan from the thread and give them their own thread?

not our fault it's due to our proximity to n. Ireland and the huge influx of workers to the shipyards on the clyde circa 1850 - 1920....

the partition of Ireland and the civil war which followed didn't help.

There wasn't any sectarianism in scotland prior to this either.

No this would just cause the same problems as the original thread as I reckon it was mostly from Rangers fans commenting on Celtic (or vice-versa Rangers fans will say).

With the teams seperated by leagues and threads then hopefully that would resolve the issue?

I know I have no interest in reading or posting in a lower division thread.

Please use that for any SPL related matters, if you want to discuss other matters in the SFL then feel free to start another thread for the teams/leagues outside the SPL. As stated the subject of Rangers liquidation is to be kept to the existing thread. Thank you.
