Splinter Cell HD Trilogy

Chaos Theory does work on Windows 7 but the DRM doesn't so unless you have the steam version or the combination of about 3 cracks you can't play it.

I'd agree with most of what that review says. I've played the crap out of PT and CT, but as I keep saying - it's not always about the graphics. I bought these even though I own the PC versions (although PT and CT usually crash to desktop for me on Win 7 so it's not like I can play them) I have still had great fun playing these on PS3 and having the chance to earn trophies is a nice bonus.
The thing with that review is that it only talks about graphics and if graphics are the sole reason to buy a game then that's sad.

True. I think the reason the review goes on about the graphics is because the games have already been reviewed a long time ago and the whole point in the remake is the play the same games in the modern age on new hardware. I have all the originals so I'm really debating getting this now although I probably will as I'm a huge Splinter Cell fan (before they ruined it with Conviction).

Yeah I know - I mean the main selling point for the publishers is that the graphics are new and improved which in some parts is noticeably true but those parts aren't the biggest percentage. It's a shame, really, but Ubi are selling it on the strength of (improved and HD) graphics when that's just not where it's true strength lies.

Anyway, it's worth a buy if you're a fan and it's nice to have trophies for extra replayability, just don't expect it to melt your eyes with pure HD beauty.

(I actually enjoyed Conviction for the co-op, had some great fun with it on XBL)
