Every man and his dog on here wanted to smoke Roys bone last season as he was apparently so wonderfull. Now he's useless and just wrecks great teams? It's ALL his fault...

Chong don't try. Liverpool were world beaters before Roy and would have the premier league all but wrapped up by now if Rafa was still in charge.

A lot of people in here can't seem to accept that while Roy is certainly part of the problem, he is not the only part.

I wanted benitez out because I felt that us (and he) needed a change.

I didn't however want Roy in, so can I answer this?

Now I would like the same choice that I asked for when rafa went. Dalglish as caretaker whilst we negotiate with a permanent manager ( would settle happily for deschamps or rijkaard)

I wouldn't take Rijkaard. Aside from Barca his club record is poor. I said in the summer that Deschamps would be the way to go and I stick by that.

Carlo wont get sacked yet (although if a CL place gets unobtainable, then that could well change quickly) - At the moment its still quite close between 3rd and 5th

Roy and Grant are perilous though

Deschamps would be a good choice - but he's at Marseille isnt he (who are in the CL knock outs), so not sure he would leave for a few months
