** spoilers ** English League Football [20th - 22nd November 2010]

Banhammer tbh!

Like DM said, the result is down to who bothers to turn up. Hopefully Bale, VDV and the likes of modric, Defoe and pav are kept quiet during the game too. Could do with another cesc screamer to get him going this season. An RvP goal or three wouldn't go amiss either!

Not looking forward to the game today....i have a feeling that we could lose points ie end up with a draw or worse still a loss.

Im hoping that wont be the case and that we will spank them all over the ground...Gallas the moody **** is coming back and im pretty sure he will get a very hostile reception...papers this morning are bigging up his so called feud with Nasri.

Fingers crossed we beat the Spuds....

Liverpool without Gerrard tends to mean Torres gets few chances
If you've watched any Liverpool game at all this season you would know Torres gets few chances regardless of whether Gerrard plays or not. Torres needs the ball to feet in front of goal but he's getting it hoofed down the wings and high in the air.

I can see us beating Spurs but then I would say that. I just think they're a bit short up front and with people like van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri and Arshavin if he plays then we'll just have too much quality for them. We should have a decent bench as well.

Liverpool are either going to draw or WH will get a sneaky win today.

Roy will say they played really well, just lost concentration for 5 mins when WH score to draw / win. Roy says there is nothing to worry about, WH battled hard and deserved it even though it was unfair on Liverpool's performance.

Cue half of Merseyside getting set on fire.

Utd home loss to Wigan to compensate for the below :)

Cant lose to Wigan, surely.

Fergie hairdryer to come out (finally), the week he stated he cant use it anymore as players arent made of the same stuff as in previous years :)

Every game is such a nailbiter these days....

I've no idea how Man Utd are still unbeaten, on paper their team looks average at best with a few good players chucked in here and there.

Well, we've lost a good few games by throwing away a good lead too.

If we hadn't done that (and it could have been easily avoided if the players werent retarded) we would probably be top and unbeaten :p

Ji Sung Park for #1 goalscorer, YO! :D

:(

But HOW?! :o

Would you look at the Utd team and say that it's full of exceptional players? I wouldn't, people like Fletcher and Ji Sung Park probably wouldn't even get into the Arsenal or Chelsea midfield, and probably not into other Euro teams like Bayern or Inter, Utd look like a team of average players that are more than the sum of their parts, except for the couple of players who can really turn it on when they can be bothered, like Rooney.

Not at all, I think we have a very average team in all honesty.

On their day, Rooney/Nani/Berbatov are our 'star' attacking players, and how often does Berbatov have his day? Not that often :p

Hopefully Rooney will get going again, as we'll need him.

Other than that, there's Vidic and Evra who are superb and fairly consistent, everywhere else is a bit 'meh' :(

That said, Evra hasn't even done that well this season :/

(Leaving out VDS due to his age and he'll maybe retire, but he's decent too)

I don't rate Nani at all, I think he's a selfish, showboating, poor mans Ronaldo. I don't really think much of Valencia either, from what I've seen he just does a job and that's it, he was fairly pricy as well wasn't he?! I just think that Utd need to start investing properly in some players that are going to be excellent in 2 or 3 years time, that Hernandez who I completely forgot about is looking awesome. :)

Rumoured line up: Fabianksi, Koscielny, Sagna, Clichy, Squillaci, Song, Denilson, Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin, Chamakh

I am NOT happy with that at all. For a start Wenger must have gone mad putting Koscielny and Squillaci as left back and right back! :p

In all seriousness though, Chamakh and Denilson starting, really? We have a van Persie who has been ready to play now for several weeks and he is going to no doubt sit on the bench until the 60th minute or longer, I don't think that much of Chamakh, he doesn't look like a hard worker, he isn't great with the ball at his feet, he doesn't take a player on very often and his main asset being his height he doesn't even threaten aerially anywhere near as much or as good as he should do. The other week I forget our opponents but we had 12 corners and he didn't contest for any of them, he's just dire and I don't see where his 8 goals have came from, he missed a tap in last week with an open goal from about 2 yards. Dire.

Yeah, it's quite scary really, especially in midfield. Scholes and Giggs can still play but like VDS, don't have long left and it shows from time to time. OH is a crock, Fletcher can do DM quite well but is no world class attacking player. Anderson showed flashes of brilliance but then suffered a drop in form and injuries.

On the wings, well, we have Nani, who is one of our better players but showboats far too much and is selfish with the ball. Valencia was playing quite well before being injured. Park, well, lets not go there.

If Rooney did kick up a stink about the quality in the side, then I can fully see where he's coming from.

I think Nani is an arse too, however, on his day he is a decent player, one of the best in the league. Again, just like Berbatov he can go missing in plenty of games which isn't good. He can pull magic out of a hat but doesn't very often.

You cant even compare him to Ronaldo, I miss Ronaldo :(

Valencia is ok, he pretty much only does one thing though, which is power his way to the byline and cross the ball. He does it fairly well but nothing special.

Hernandez is looking great, too early to say whether he will get much better/be consistent though but its looking promising.
