** spoilers ** English League Football [27th - 28th November 2010]

The W Ham might be the one I was thinking of, Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August. No excuse for it not being a holiday, midweek or during school times.

Berbatov... just awesome

Rooney did really well despite not scoring.

Extremely happy with that, I have to laugh at all the butthurt fans of other teams moaning in the last few pages, whine more! :D

Man Utd are now top of the league while by their standards playing distinctly average, while still managing to stay unbeaten. If today's performance is anything to go by then they will looking good for the title.

That was a quality goal from bolton. That's arsenal style football done right!

Blackpool need to invest in some defenders now, i really hope they stay up along with WBA who've been fantastic at times!

Quite a day for Man Joo, ****ing Blackburn so hard I wouldn't be suprised if Fergie left a fiver on their dresser and two loanees netting for their respective teams.

All that's missing now is Avram Grant smiling, OH BUT WAIT

Liverpool team for today - Source not as reliable as the usual but heard it from three people so:

Reina
Johnson, Carra, Skrtel, Konchesky
Kuyt, Lucas, Miereles, Maxi
Ngog, Torres

Oh look, Utd fans love Berbatov again, I give it 3 weeks before we start getting random valuations "he's not worth 20million, let alone 30mil, blah blah blah".

Berbatov is a truly excellent player, worth(in the current market, ie/ Kaka/Alsono more than 10mil a piece) in excess of 30mil.
.

He is a truely excellent player?

How can he be a truely excellent player when for two and half seasons he has done precisely **** all?
Two performances in two and a half years, thats all he has put in, £30.5 million pounds buys you work rate, effort, commitment and desire EVERY MATCH, not twice in two and a half years.

Its a shame he couldnt put the kind of running in yesterday against Villa the other week, where he turned in one of the most disgraceful performances I have ever seen from a profesional footballer.

If anything, yesterday just reinforces everything I have ever said about him, that for the most part he just cant be bothered, look at what he can do when he makes an effort.

Went yesterday and had a great conversation with the Norwich fans asking why they buy the scarf to say they dont want the Glazers in charge but then pay the 40? every week to go and watch them? Surely if all 70k+ just boycotted the games they would realise they cant pay the interest etc and attempt to sell the club?. Anyway played reasonably well but for some reason no one wanted to shoot from outside the area! and so we were limited to a great goal from Micah!
Quite disappointed in the Stoke fans considering they are supposed to be the loudest in the league. No one can deny that we didnt out sing them etc
Anyway, a point is a point and were still 4th, 3 points could have been possible if the ref didnt want to protect Stoke so much.

Complete and utter rubbish, despite rarely being played didn't he score something along the lines of 10-12 goals in only 14-15 actual starts, he only played in 23 games worth of minutes on the pitch and, as Fergie managed to point out recently, he thinks a lot of berbatov's form is down to chopping and changing the team heavily most weekends.

He HAS been fantastic for the best part of the last 2.5 years, as I said, go back to when Utd won the title with Rooney/Ronaldo playing, look whose involved in almost every goal with the key throughball.

Mostly, the only time he's poor is when the ball blasted up to him is rubbish and the support running terrible, when Utd's wingers/other strikers play at least half decently, he's usually outstanding in supplying them with quality passing and when he gets a half decent ball in the box, he's very good. The trouble in the past 10 games is Utd have been, by 99.9% of Utd fans opinion, incredibly average to pretty much rubbish, scraping draws/wins all season with very dodgey performances. Midfield played well, actually gave Berbatov service, who was fantastic.

The ONLY trouble is, he's just not a Henry, he doesn't sit on the half way line waiting for a counter attack and like running with the ball for 50 yards before putting it in the net, so what, most players aren't like that, when the movement around him is poor, his game won't show. He's a pass and move master, if no ones moving, his passing and moving becomes pretty much irrelevant.

Utd finally, and for a change, played at pass, 1-2's, quick movement, passing the ball quickly and moving into space, generating chances and Berbatov buried them.
