[Spoilers]***European Championship Qualifying - England vs Switzerland***

How typical would it be for Walcott to have just found form (again) and to get another long term injury and be back to square 1 with everybody saying how awful he is. This would be the third time

2 Arsenal players injured, both ankle related, they must being doing something wrong at Colney. Anyone think it's related to Gary Lewin leaving us?

Ah yes, this post is just to display my love for these ****ing ***** internationals.

Pile of crap.

RvP is also injured... damn arsenal!

Did he recover from Blackburn? I thought he was out for weeks.

That'd be two years running then internationals have ****ed him.

Good goal and G Johnson has looked alright so far...Walcott injury looked quite bad tbh as he didnt go off walking but on a stretcher which usually means its bad? anyways A Johnson is on :)

It was because of the Swiss players challenge, it dragged his foot over, just an accident.

Fair enough, I just wanted to make a point, that injuries seem to be on the increase, since he left, maybe I'm confusing correlation with causation but, there seems to a lot of coincidence at hand. It's not as if v.Persie is of small stature either. As the Dutch say, he must be made of Chocolate

God i love Johnson :p...thought defoe was gonna bang that in like he did against Bulgaria...
Gunners-Isnt Lewin's brother now your physio?

I think van Persie brings it upon himself somewhat, have you seen the way he runs? It must put a lot of extra pressure on his joints. The way he plays football isn't ideal, especially for a high intensity game

No, van Persie didn't recover from the injury suffered at Blackburn. The official site says that he isn't expected to play until at least mid-October which is a few weeks more than what we were initially told. They are saying he'll miss the Braga and Partizan Belgrade games, as well as a further 5 Premier League matches. Hopefully Walcott being stretchered will just be a precaution and if he starts on the bench on Saturday then that's at least something, especially after his exceptional form of late. I knew it was too much to expect none of the Arsenal players to be injured in these stupid Internationals.

True, he almost minces around the pitch, still, wouldn't like to get a ball struck by his left peg in my face.

Ouch!

FFFFFFFUUUUUUU, What is it with injuries and Arsenal, I believe that there is something fundamentally wrong with the training regime, as this much bad luck cannot be bad luck

More great play from Johnson, he is what Walcott should have been.

He cruises past players and has a decent final ball.

Did you say that while rubbing your hands and laughing manically? :p

Maybe a little bit, I wouldn't want to see you lose 3rd place to Man City though :(
