Busquets plays as a DM. A lot of fab's game is creativity and attacking football... he would be wasted playing as a DM.

Not a memorable performance, but it's fine, there were a lot of changes and I said yesterday that when that happens it's nearly impossible to retain a similar level to your first XI, obviously. Fabregas has turned into the definition of a game winner recently.

Bendtner's crap, even though the entire first half ALL the good attacking and posession came down the right through Bendtner, he won header after header, pass after pass.
Most of the team simply didn't pass to him in the second half, the biggest difference when Cesc came on was he passed to Bendtner. He missed a couple very good chances, but then Chamakh, Denilson, Diaby, Arshavin missed more or created a lot less than Bendtner.
The thing was in the second half till Fabregas came on there was no goal threat because we wouldn't pass forwards with any pace, Bendtner made run, after run, after run, he was ALWAYS in space, even late on he ran over to the right, got the ball, held it up and created another chance. Fabregas passed into several runs Bendtner made, it doesn't even matter if he got the ball or not, he had the defence backpedaling, which had the midfield backing up, which had the strikers backing up.
Thats what attacking football gives you, even if you don't score, it backs the other team up. For the first what, 30 minutes of the second half we didn't attack and that gave Huddersfield the licence to push the whole team forwards.
Wenger is a true muppet though, as soon as Squillaci went off the incredibly obvious choice, despite Chamakh being woeful the entire half and losing the ball constantly, was Diaby, he hasn't played in months, he's not match fit, we've made one sub already, Diaby is a CERTAIN sub in the second half, so make that change now.
Instead he takes off someone who's match fit and hasn't shown to be injury prone and hasn't played all that much lately either, Diaby had to come off later, then we were screwed, as Gibbs was on an early yellow card and making daft decisions it was even more risky as Gibbs could easily have needed to be replaced.
Nasri was worthless till he got injured, 5 yard backwards passes, in the box, anything really useful he gave it away. Diaby screwed up more 2 yard passes than anyone should EVER be allowed to get away with, Denilson wasn't good, Squillaci was awful.
Lack of attacking, and the SAME damn players EVERY SINGLE GAME who refuse to pass forwards with any fluid attacking football causes us to play like crap.
Bendtner and Fabregas, simply passing to each other and ATTACKING completely turned the game on its head, thats all it took.
The penalty, I really can't decide, it was harsh, so I think a yellow was fair, but from the angle behind the goal he does just run right into Bendtner, not very hard, not "rafael on Blackpool style" but enough to knock Bendtner.
