If its the Gerrard on form were not if its one prior to injury were he was very hit and miss id agree but its nice to not have to rely on him as much anymore since KK has been their he has had such a good effect on the other players im not worried anymore when he isnt on the pitch.

Maybe but lets not get too carried away with the lucas spearing combo in midfield, its not cl place or epl winning combo. Good for the squad though.

I know it's not the best source, but for him to break up with his girlfriend yesterday (day before?) and mysteriously pick up an 'injury' in training just seems a bit to fishy.

As he's a footballer he probably cheated on her leading to a 'her foot - his man sack' related injury.
Gerrard has been playing more on his reputation more than anything else this season and for a long time, he has been inconsistent and hasnt looked all that bothered when he has been playing. Being injured will hopefully spark him into life next season. As with anybody else in the team, if he's not playing well enough, he shouldnt be playing. To be honest the team is settled at the moment so if he was to become fit i wouldnt bring him straight back.

What could've been a tense second half turned in to a walk in the park thanks to Kenny swapping the two fullbacks. Great second half performance and another fantastic win thanks to some brilliant Newcastle defending.
Dalglish - 15 games, 9 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses = 30 points
Edit: And my farts smell like draught bitter today which is nice.
