***Spoilers*** Premier League Football 22 May 2010/2011

I believe transfers within England can happen from 1st June and for all others it's 1st July.

And why do you think Arsenal are going to be busy this year? Arsenal have been in the same position for the past 5 years without anything being done about it.

Mostly because Wenger seems to be suggesting or hinting at changes and half the squad seems to want to go off, even our worst players think theres better situations for them.

Anyway, Wenger's said on multiple occasions now he has no idea whats wrong, I have zero faith in him getting rid of and then bringing in the right players.

So ditch Bendtner, Eboue, Denilson, Vela, and bring in, 4-5 other bench warmers, that will significantly change the team

Pav has made played in 39 games and scored 14 goals according to Wiki. He certainly hasn't started the majority of those 39.

According to the premierleague site, Pav has scored 1 goal for every 189minutes played in the league across 3 seasons, with 20 goals, minutes wise he's only played 42 or so games worth of minutes over 3 seasons. Lots of them as a sub with very few runs of starts.

Hardly a bad scoring rate, 3 years, a solid 1 in 2 ratio is good. It would likely only increase if he were played as often as Crouch and had a bit of confidence.

This season was Pav's best, 1 goal every 158 minutes vs Crouch with 1 goal every 486 minutes. Impossible to tell how Spurs ended up 11 points worse off and scoring 15 goals less than last season.

Anyway, poor Blackpool, yeah, rubbish defensively, naive, but they are spending less than basically everyone else on wages and players. Gave us attacking football, goals, and decent games to watch. Brum, happy to see them go down, only makes losing the crap cup to them even more embarassing.

Meh, quite like Mick and Wolves do try and attack and have a few decent players good to see them stay up.

Speaking of arsenal, when does the Summer window officially open?

We should be the busiest club this year!

No doubt about it.

I believe he ment that they will be busy losing the few good players left at Arsenal ;)

Nice one noob. :p

If what Arsenal fans have read over the past few weeks is true then the likes of Eboue, Denilson, Almunia, Diaby, Clichy, Vela may all be on their way out the door, I really hope so, I didn't see the game today but the draw 2-2 to a 10 man Fulham is just disgraceful. We lost against Barca and then everything went to ****. The players really need to wise up next season and we really need to work on defending corners, long throws and free kicks. Unlike DM I don't think Wenger is a retard and I think for the most part he's got his tactics right. We were in 4 competitions not so long ago and people are quick to forget that, a couple of games we absolutely bottled which we should have been easy winners of and the season may have turned out differently. :)

Still I've got high hopes for some new faces in the summer, I don't mind him buying players for the future but only if he is going to supplement them with some players who have experience as well. Szczesny is fine for #1 and on the whole our defense has been very good this year, we had the least goals conceded in the league for quite a while and up until our capitulation we were consistent. I don't think Arsenal's position is as horrific as some people are making out and the cries of Wenger to be sacked are just ridiculous. I'll be judging him on how he reacts to this season, what players go out and which types of player he brings in.

There's still some players I'm not 100% sure should have a place in our team. Arshavin for example has a good number of assists and goals but his general play has been dreadful, making a handful of tackles in the latter games of the season isn't going to change that, no doubt DM will be in here to tell me I'm a retard or that I'm wrong, Arshavin is brilliant and he'll then tell me that he's got 6 goals and 11 assists this season at which point I'll quote his post from the other thread where he said stats don't ever tell the whole story...

Either way Wenger needs to stay, we need to get rid of the dead wood, we need to bring in some experience but that's not enough, they need to be good players as well, I can forgive Squillaci for some of his errors as it's his first season but we need quality experienced players, not Silvestre or Lehmann.
