I have tickets to the Women's Champions League Final (only 'cos I could through Fulham)...was at least hoping it'd be Arsenal as they're the only decent women's team I know of! :p

Or maybe you watched match of the day and seem to think that every Arsenal player is trash? I wouldn't comment on a team I know nothing about or barely watch so I wouldn't expect other people to either. Certain members of the squad need to go, I even said which ones I thought on the other page, but to say that we've got a handful of decent players and all the rest are **** is hardly true, which leads me to the suspicion that you hardly ever watch Arsenal at all, it's easy to look at the end result of games and just say yeah they're a **** team, but stats don't tell the story of the season.

We've had some real massive screw ups this season and you could tell that losing in the Champions League and then losing in the Carling Cup final had a massive effect on the morale of the squad, that's not an excuse it's one of the reasons as to why we couldn't stay in the title race in the final few weeks, and regardless of what DM says we were mathematically in with a shout until only a few weeks ago, if that's a team full of rubbish players then fine, whatever you say.

People say our squad's full of rubbish players and we won the league so on that basis I don't see how arsenal are immune.

They play pretty football with inferior players, they should still be commended on playing pleasing to the eye football!!

Because it's pretty obviously a ridiculous statement. How anyone can say Man Utd's squad is rubbish is beyond me. Sure there aren't any Xavi's or Iniesta's but what you have is a tremendous team spirit and the desire to win every match. Not many of the Arsenal players have that but to say they are **** players is just a stupid statement made by somebody who barely watches them.
 
Anyone see Arry on SSN? Apparently Spurs supporters who are moaning can go and support someone else and that this season is as good as it's going to get, wasn't Arry saying at the start of the season that Spurs are only a few players away from winning the league, now finishing 5th/being in the champions league is as good as it gets?

Is that the most pointless quote in the world given they tell you the scores rather than just show them on screen?

5th is a fair position. next season the top 4 is going to be pretty much the same with liverpool battling it out with spurs to break into it. a lot depends on who chelsea put in charge and how much money city throw about when it comes to challenging utd.

After the 'main news', they ALWAYS mention the latest sports news. Just don't watch the news if you're trying to avoid the scores. :confused:
