***SPOILERS***(Real) Football 01-05 Apr 2010/2011

Fergie said they are looking at ways on keeping players like Hernandez fresh for the run in. iirc The Mexican League was still going on during the World Cup. So effectively he is playing pretty much two seasons back to back.

Your seriously having a laugh aren't you. Alan Smith has got to be one of the biggest Utd hating commentators besides Alan Greene. When it went to 2-2 he come out with some bull crap about not only does this hand Utd a lifeline in the game but in the Premiership title race. As if it's a foregone certainty that we have no chance of winning the Premiership. The table my boring ex-Arsenal lump of a number 9 does not lie

I think you'll find its more a case of commentator gets behind winning team and acts like everything they do is golden... syndrome.

He tried to say that it was a hard finish, sorry but, it was a slow ball, he had plenty of time, an empty net, 3 yards out.

Two utd fans felt the need to comment over a throw away comment by me about a laughable piece of commentry......... overly defensive much?

It was one of the easiest tap ins he'll have all year, its got nothing to do with Hernandez, Utd, me liking West Ham, it was just a hilarious thing for him to say.

If a foul is on the line of the box is it a peno or fkick?
and Mekrel the decision you're on about is the Vidic stonewaller?

I've actually not seen it, I got in later than anticipated from town but the commentators have been saying that it was just outside the box.

Well Missed last 20mins of the game but well iguess rooney scoring is good for my ff team atleast :P.

Well Suarez will score for us today i reckon possibly two. Roy to get boo`ed etc no doubt from our fans Carroll may score as his goal in mid week will of helped his confidence allot.

This shows that Berbatov has to start. His composure and creativity in the final third is unmatched. His control is excellent and as soon as he's on the field it gives us an option of going through the centre.

All joking aside, this is what the difference is between UTD and Arsenal.

We got back to 2-2 last weekend

They put 4 past W Ham this weekend.

Same position, same part of the season.

It's why the false optimism from some Arsenal fans - "win every game and we win the league" is just rubbish.

take a bow Rooney, Hernandez and although he didn't score, Berbatov who I thought was pivotal.

Berbatov was excellent, ran the wing, and won a corner out of nothing, the 4th goal he took the ball into the box and rather than panic or try a daft penalty he does what he always does, calm, aware of whose around him, turns away from danger and waits for a GOOD pass to play not just whatever pass is the first one spotted.

He does that, every game I've basically ever seen, his movement was fantastic, he was picking up the ball and waiting for the right pass in midfield, sucking midfielders/defenders in, making the pass into newly opened up space and running into the box to occupy defenders. As soon as he came on Rooney wasn't trying to be the playmaker anymore, he was getting in the box. PRetty sure Berbatov delayed a pass in the build up to the 2nd goal, or maybe the penalty being won that took out two players and gave whoever he laid it off too plenty of room to make a pass.
