I quite enjoyed the last episodes but started watching season 1 and 2. Season 1 seems fine but is it just me or is season 2 rubbish? I just can't get into it, all these crazy story lines. Are the next seasons better or is this just not for me?

The early episodes were the best IMO, however, as it goes on it begins to have a series long story. Stick with it.

Wow! What an ending!

Am gutted to see the end of Spooks but at least they didn't drag it out until it got rubbish. In my opinion it was probably the best thing on TV!

Agreed. The story was still going strong but it has to come to and end eventually. And yeah spooks and top gear are the only things i ever watch(ed) now

Not really watched since Tom left but some real silliness in there.

1. Stewardess sees man go in to plane toilet with briefcase and stays in there for extended period of time... she alerts nobody and nobody misses her when she vanishes, they don't even check the engaged loo as the plane begins its descent.

2. Woman is strangled 10 seconds later the MI5 burst in and check for a pulse... she's dead, no CPR, she's dead.

3. Woman with collapsed lung is encouraged to keep talking until she can breath no more

4. Apparently Tariq wasn't on the memorial at the end.

The lack of cpr on multiple occasions was a bit odd

Tom Quinn was part of the outside Agency that Harry had hired to deal with the Russian chap, you hear it from when the Home Secretary was on the phone to Harry.

I did find it a bit odd, as in Tom Quinn's last episode he became disillusioned with the Service and the whole Spying business?

It has left a opening if they do want to carry on the series, or go off in a different direction.

It was more than just a collapsed lung, he must have got an artery as well, so they knew she wasn't going to make it. So keeping her talking, would made it more comfortable for her.

I'm happy Harry didn't do it, what confuses me is why the **** didn't that russian git kill his dad?

And why didn't that woman with the kid say he had it, and Dimitri seen him pick it up.
