I don't mind that the game isn't for you, everyone has different tastes and obviously not everyone is going to be into family games like Spore because it might be a bit too childish. I'm just wondering how you managed not to expect it. :p

It's been marketed all along as a family game, and when it got a PEGI 12+ rating I knew that I'd be a bit silly to expect brutal decapitations and gore (though it would be sweet. Modders, take note!) :D

I like the cell bit that was fun and really nicely done, shame it doesnt take long, about 20 mins ish. You can continue to stay there or evolve the choice is yours.

On land now, and met a tribe so i killed it ate it then watched tv with a beer lol. But really i ate the thing i get a dna point then i did a bit more killing and eating their corpses afterward and then you get some more dna so off to the creature editor. Made a nice bit of a beast. Will post a pic later.

Its fun for now but well see how long it lasts.

LOL, so I have to ask you now since I asked peterattheboro a similar question: -

How on earth did you manage to know about this game, download it, and play it, but somehow all along utterly miss the fact that this is a pointing and clicking type of game? :confused:

I'm not a fanboy of this game, I have my own complaints, but at least my complaints are actually the game's fault and not entirely my fault because I somehow missed the point of the game entirely.

I didn't know anything of this game. just seen it on a certain download site we loads of leechers so thought it would be good, so downloaded it had a good 2 hour on it hoping for something fun to happen but it just didn't.

To be fair, there's no way you can't say that's your own fault.

If I see something on usenet I never heard of I just Wiki it. :p

hmm think il wait a couple of days before deciding to order or not. Dont really know much about the game tbh but i really like sim city type games.
 
Played through the tribal stage , but forgot to save it during the civilization save and or the space level... Quit and noticed it hadn't autosaved hrs and hrs gameplay lost , can't be bothered to replay it again especially the tribal :(
