OK it seems AI will lay new eggs and they do hatch. Sometimes they hatch as babies and sometimes they hatch as adults. To mimic other animals I think you just spam the sing button on them. I think I need to level sing though as I still can't befriend them.

I've been playing this thing for hours now, got myself up to the tribal RTS part of the game and even though I'm not really into RTS these days (can't play it to save my life) it's nice and simple so people like me can still have a lot of fun.

I did run into a nasty bug though; You have to keep your tribe fed, individually, so you either have to send them to the food bit of the camp or let them go automatically. Unfortunately when they get to it they often get "stuck on" it, forming a queue. This means that if your attention is elsewhere for too long (waging war somewhere, for example) they will just line up and starve with the food right in front of them. They also won't come out of the line to defend the camp.

D'oh. :(

Its not a bug they only eat 3 times then die. :D
 
I never did get round to having a go on the creature creator thing, just downloading it now :)

Got my copy on pre-order too, I just hope this game is as good as it should be :)

You need to add body parts that makes your skills in singing, dancing, showing off and stuff increase. Those skills will appear in the social/combat toolbar (social side, of course) at the bottom.

My guys have eaten a lot more than three times, so it's not that. :(

You sound like one of these people who thinks it's cool to hate popular games, or cool to hate EA. Well, unluckily for you my lad, it looks to me so far that everything we've seen in the videos over the years is still in the game. You'll have to go back to hating on Crysis if you want your friends to think you're cool. :( :(
