im curious if ti means. 3 presently active activations as it would mean i could install it on my laptop and pc.

yes you can, but if you sell it on they could only install and use it on one pc.
mass effect had this and you could run it without the disc in the drive. If I can do this with spore it will get the thumbs up from me.
What do you guys do? carry your save games around with you? I really don't see the need to multi install unless both are to be used at the same time by different people.
But as you say, you've paid for it so you can do what you want with it.

the game is not online per se, you download otehr peoples creature to inhabit your own universe, but the are AI controlled.
