**SPORE**

mines pre-ordered and should ship somepoint today i hope! Like tefal i think i'm gonna have to crack this or install it on it's own partition to try and get arround the whole 3 install thingy.

I thought you can install it as many times as you want? Just not three installs at any one given time

Anyway, ill probably buy this in a week or two from town, but want to know if i can play it with no CD first. So me and my GF can play it together.

Will be able to by illegal methods which we can't discuss ;)

You naughty guys that are playing this already, does not having any of the 'online' functionality appear to make any difference to the game?

Cos we only paid for it today for delivery tomorrow. Should be shipped tomorrow :)

Oh and fyi, price going up after preorders processed to £29.99!

I dont mind that, as long as mines at £24.99 :)

People are saying 3 installs at once, does this mean i could put it on my kids machines and mine and we all can work properly?

Just the Sporepedia stuff and your world populated by other peoples creatures, just wondered if the lack of it makes any noticeable difference to the game.

I guess they wouldnt know though if they havent got it :p

Ill give it a try offline and online when it arrives to see what difference it makes, it potentially could make a massive difference, other peoples creatures in a big appeal.

One review repeatedly made the point that the ingame generated creatures are poor, and the game came into it's own as it populated worlds with user created content. Such as stumbling across a village of old men in wheel chairs being attacked by a giant chair monster, and swarms of flying sniper rilfe creatures etc. So while not a necessity, it seems the online functionality adds a lot to the experience and millions of weird creatures.

Damn it! For some reason my pre-order (which I've had for 5 months) has mysteriously been cancelled on a certain game selling website. Whats the chances that they won't send it out to me on time if I place another order.

They're trying to filter all that stuff out, but they won't get it all surely, so some kids are in for a shock in the not-to-distant future
The review I mentioned in my last post did say they saw legless lesbion zombies with sores on their breasts - but they said this was fantastic :D
