So massive tax cut (or top up depending on how you phrase it) for those that can afford to put more than £40k a year into their pensions. Whilst basic rate tax payers only get a 25% top up.
Getting rid of lifetime allowance made sense, but allowing very high earner to save a further 42% (or 70% topup) on 20k of income is silly.
What's the childcare upfront bit for people on UC?
Doesn't make sense for the economy as the wealthy won't be spending, they'll be squirreling funds away into their pension.
They'll spend it in foreign economies on their cruises and winter breaks though....To later spend in the economy once they retire.
Wonder if they plan to re assess everyone. It's not what you can't do, it's what you can do now...Does anyone know where I can find this white paper about the disability reforms?
I think it could boil down to which group you’re in on UC or ESA.Wonder if they plan to re assess everyone. It's not what you can't do, it's what you can do now...
Did you not plan ahead?Does anyone know where I can find this white paper about the disability reforms?
It doesn't start until next April, and then it's staggered.30 hours and from 9 months seems like a decent change to me.

Because that's all wealthy retiries do isn't it?

Reading the white paper it needs primary legislation anyway, so won't be until the next parliament...I think it could boil down to which group you’re in on UC or ESA.
If you’re in the work related group, you’re in their sights, but people in the support group will be left alone as it’s medically accepted that they are completely unable to do any kind of job.
I would very much like to see this too.Does anyone know where I can find this white paper about the disability reforms?
That doesn’t even make sense. A poor attempt at a retort. Must do better.Did you not plan ahead?
Just posted the white paper above. #309I would very much like to see this too.
I'm guessing it will be the axe for PIP and other non-means-tested benefits.
