Squeeky brakes continued.

Moly Sulphide is the stuff you want, far better at higher temps. The copper part in copper grease is fine with the temperatures, its the other stuff in it that goes orrid.

Glad everyone is in agreement it doesn't go in between pad and disk, just odd how only a few seems to understand that theres where the noise is created :confused: Loads of copper grease will just act as a liquid damper to cancel the noise for a while, hardly a solution.

some muppet i used to work with tried sorting out squeeky breaks on his company orion 1.6i (it was a long time ago).... and then he lent me the car so I could pop home to get something! I've never been so scared in my life! :eek:
