I really couldn’t give a **** about American problems, and id really like it if people would stop importing it into discussions that are broader than them (world as whole) or more narrow (like Sri Lanka). It’s utterly irrelevant.
Especially irrelevant when there’s a concerted campaign by evangelicals to frame America in a certain image that simply doesn’t exist or is completely at odds with their lauded constitution (that they like to ignore if it hurts them).
This is a uk forum and this is a Sri Lankan specific event with mild connections elsewhere, that is it, it doesn’t require analysis of anything US related unless we’re talking about their (and our) unmitigated support for the main funder of Islamic terror.
