The plight of Christians around the world is perilous in a number of locations. The middle east has nearly expunged them at this stage.
All you can do is try and balance it out.
If they are hating or unduly cynical (as opposed to demonstrating simple and kind behaviour that actually makes the world better) then they are going about it in the wrong way, yes.Too many people try and balance it out in the wrong way though.
what are you on about? Civil war was fought between Tamils (LTTE), who are Hindu and Sinhalese (majority) who are Buddhists. The terror attacks in the past have been committed by LTTE then.
i thought it was "i stand in solidarity with XYZ' these days."Thoughts and Prayers" - you changed your FB image to support those affected too?
COLOMBO (AFP) - Sri Lanka's police chief made a nationwide alert 10 days before Sunday's (April 21) bomb attacks in the country that suicide bombers planned to hit "prominent churches", according to the warning seen by AFP.
Police chief Pujuth Jayasundara sent an intelligence warning to top officers on April 11 setting out the threat.
"A foreign intelligence agency has reported that the NTJ (National Thowheeth Jama'ath) is planning to carry out suicide attacks targeting prominent churches as well as the Indian high commission in Colombo," said the alert.
The NTJ is a radical Muslim group in Sri Lanka that came to notice last year when it was linked to the vandalisation of Buddhist statues.
At least 156 people were killed in six bomb attacks on Sunday that included three churches.
Terrorism, who ever causes it, is an evil which needs stamping out. Maybe if we focused our energies on removing the biggest killer first, rather than one of the most minor, the world would be a safer place for everyone.
