SSD and HDD Help

Ive just reinstalled win 7 onto my new SSD, but now i cannot see my old HDD in My Computer which previously had win 7 on it.

I can see it in Disk Management and when i try to format it, it says "windows cannot format the partition on this disk"

I did format it before I installed onto the SSD, and in Disk Management there's 100% free space on it...........im confused
