SSD + AVG

heres old screenshot of mine when i hadnt long had windows installed and a few programs inc avg,ive seen the time to desktop be 12seconds

now that the drives filled up more and ive installed a few extra programs ect its around the 22-25second to desktop mark

heres times now

where is avg installed on your ssd? or on storage mech hdd? mines on my storage hdd

I only have the ssd in my pc atm until I need more space then will add a hdd.

My SSD is quite full tbh. probs why my boots a bit slower.

you might be right,im not saying you arnt,id test myself but its a bit of a faff to uninstall and reinstall and update avg

im just saying from a clean windows install mine was around the same time,now ive added stuff ect its slower but not noticable imo idk whether running avg or not would affect things but ive never noticed it

I use MSE as well and mine boots in under 20 seconds. Wouldn't go back to a paid AV software really, makes no sense when MSE is fast and good at what it does. Not that I've ever had a virus for the past ten years...
