Hi I have a question

I have the choice of getting either a single SATA III Samsung 840 250gb drive for £125 new or a couple of 2nd hand but still wrapped OCZ Vertex 2 240gb drives for £160.

Either choice will be replacing my current set up of a 64gb Crucial M4 and a 1tb Samsung HDD. They will have the OS and my games stored, all media will be stored on my home server of which the now unused Crucial SSD will become the OS disk for.

Any help making the decision between the two would be great as I don't want to waste money or see a major performance drop depending on what I go for.

as they no longer stock the adata one either, i'd also have a look at the Plextor M5 Pro 256GB Extreme Series Solid State drives

£179.99 inc VAT

so quite a bit more than i paid for my adata 256 pro ones, but speeds about the same, as long as you don't mind the controller, which i don't, never gave me any trouble tbh

more money than your choice but faster, but your would be fine for the money
