I am asking for some advice, in relation to my dads pc.
He finally wants to get a 120+GB SSD for his Windows 7 OS.
But has to make things more difficult by using an old motherboard.
Specifice Motherboard:
DFI LanParty NF4 @ http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/DFI/LPNF4Expert/ To refresh members.
It has 4 x SATA2 (NForce4 Controller) + 4 SATA1 (Marvell 88E8001 Controller)
He is considering these few SSD's:
1. OCZ VERTEX2 120GB SATA2 £43.99 (Overclockers Pre-order offer.)

Question Time:
1. Will the SATA2 (NForce4 Controller) be compatibile with either SSD?
2. An is there any documented issue with that NForce controller, in conjunction with SandForce controllers?
3. Would buying a controller card, for PCI-X allow 500+MB Read/Wrights with the AGILITY SSD?
4. Time to upgrade the motherboard?
5. Are we overthinking this simple trouble free upgrade?
