SSD Failure

Just cancelled my order for the OCZ IBIS drive, not sure what now, maybe Intel is the way to go!

The VERTEX MTBF OCZ quoted 1.5 million hours; I have had 2 in a year and a half so if my maths is right so my MTBF goes as follows
18 months divided by 2 = 9 months 36 weeks = 252 days = 3780 hours

I have been generous giving the VERTEX 15 hours a day running time; also I was away for 3 week in India on holiday a far cry from the 1.5 million hours quoted by OCZ.

So my VERTEX MTBF is 3780 hours.

After much debate I am going to try the Crucial SSD RealSSD C300 64GB, time will tell ;););)

Don’t know about the PCI-e but the Intel Core i7 980X is overclocked @ 4173.4, but the first VERTEX that went dead the CPU wasn’t overclocked at all.
I have on order the new OCZ IBIS drive this is putting this in doubt and am thinking of cancelling my order , as the VERTEX is supposed to be 1.5 million hours MTBF the first one was just under a year the replace is just over six months, I am not happy :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Apparently adjusting the PCI-e speed away from 100 (can't remember units/exact name) can cause SSD errors. Not that if t'other system wasn't o/cd.
