SSD Firmware?

How do I determine what my Crucial M4 firmware is? the update procedure is a PITA Id rather not go through all that if its not necesarry?

The updater will tell you what it is before and what it is after a flash.

The update isn't a PITA at all. Download one small file, burn it to CD, boot from it, and follow the supplied instructions. All done in ten minutes.

The new firmware is only a couple of weeks old, so your SSD probably isn't on it.
