I have laptop:
MSI GX660R 15.6" WLED TFT Intel I5-460M, 6GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, ATI HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 Graphics, with x2 500GB hdd in Raid0
I would like to buy :
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive [CT128M4SSD2]
and replace one of the hard drives for better and faster performance. Can i replace it and will i still have Raid0? Or i will just have seperate ssd and hdd with no option to set them in raid0 again?

No, if you replace one of the drives in the laptop you will lose all data on both drive.

RAID 0 is not a redundant RAID level, and data is striped across both drives.

Ok i found out about Raid0 and im clear with all data will be gone! Question is - can i set new ssd with 1 hdd back in raid0 or better is use them seperate?

You typically put identical drives into RAID configurations... obviously a mechanical hdd and new SSD are worlds apart.

So whilst it's technically possible, you'd just never do it.

and its not a good idea to put ssd in raid .. I have mine in raid 0 but they pre trim, I will be buying a new one today/tomorrow and will run in as a single HD

Nothing wrong with running two SSDs in Raid0, Speed increase more than outweights what you lose in TRIM support.

Of course the extra speed isn't noticable most of the time for most uses (I keep most of my games directories on a fast file server over teamed gigabit, and cut and paste folders over to my SSD's as needed, so not being capped at 80MB/s write speeds is nice)

Thanks for posting!
I decided to make it simple 128gb ssd + 500gb hdd + external drives for storage.
I cant find out what sata type is built in my Mobile Intel® PM55 Express Chipset!
"Serial ATA (SATA)* 3 Gb/s" Is that sata2 or sata3 so it will go up to 300mb/s or up to 500 mb/s of sequencial reads?
Its all new for me and im little bit confused :)
Thank you..

The Intel PM55 uses SATA2 (3Gb/s). SATA3 is (6Gb/s)

Thanks for answer it's helpfull. iI allready found that info that current chipset is with 3gb/s i just didn't know that sata II got's max 3gb/s. That means i will got only up to 300 mb/s read speed...?!?

Ordered my 128gb m4 crucial yesterday.
Have bootable USB with firmware update already prepared :)

if you have 2 ssd's that have garbage collection then it's fine to raid 0 them.the trim won't work but garbage collection does the same thing.can someone put up a list of ssd's that use garbage collection so people can then make an informed decision whether to raid or not
