SSD Not Showing In My Computer

Have you loaded the drviver for the drive (if required), try using diskpar.exe via the CMD promt and clean the disk.

Right click the description area, i.e. where it says "Disk x" not the free space part of the window.

I feel like such a wally!

That did it (I hope! ;))! It's now appearing in My Computer as a normal volume so all's looking good. :D

I must admit I'm a newbie to Disk Manager. :o

Thanks very much for the assistance Chilean Llama. Without it I would have sent it back to the retailer and been charged for wasting time. :)

Well, I never needed to use it before so I never bothered to learn about it.

And FYI, I'm no mere IT Technician. I currently run several businesses. ;)

Glad it worked :)

I must admit, I did think you'd tried this first, hence why I was thinking it could be a duff drive. But hey, at least you've learnt something new :)
