I've currently got a 500GB hdd for my OS which I've split into two partitions for OS and the other for storage of music/movies etc. However there are some bad sectors on the drive and even though this might not mean there is a problem I'm a bit wary of it so I'm wondering what would be the best option.
40GB SSD for OS and use current 500gb hdd for apps? Or a new 500GB HDD and use the other 500GB for storage. Would 40GB be enough for Win 7 X64? Also I have an Antec 900 case so I'm guessing I will need some sort of bay to seat an SSD?
Any help will be appreciated.
Edit: Don't want to spend more than £70
Thanks
