SSD Overclocking

From one of techpowerup's writers

With the latest drives I would be interested in underclocking - they run super hot.

thebennyboy · 24 Jan 2024 at 22:02

Would be scared of overclocking a gen 5 drive, those run super hot already straight out of the gate.

ATIorNvidia · 25 Jan 2024 at 07:59

I would be afraid of overclocking any drive period, huge risk to data for no tangible gains outside of benchmarks.

Meddling-Monk · 27 Jan 2024 at 09:08

The only "SSD" I would ever overclock for more performance, would be overclocking my RAM so the RAM Drive goes to ludicrous speeds...

PaulM · 27 Jan 2024 at 09:22

Interesting video but of all the things I’d overclock the SSD would definitely be way way down the list

drakulton · 27 Jan 2024 at 09:50

This is just an excuse for more rads, fans, pipework and blocks to cool the SSD down.

Are Delta fans are a suitable alternative?
