ssd poor write performance write

ok this is my first foray in to the ssd drive
i have bought the Corsair Force Series 3 240GB
here are the test results

this drive is running on a sata2 connection
mobo is Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 with q6600 at stock speed
the drive is running under raid and not ACHI Mode
as there is also a raid 0 set up on the same controller

so what i am looking for is suggestions on how to increase the write speed

The write speeds, as you say, appear to be too low.

The read speeds are showing as far too high.

On a SATA 2 connection the highest speed you'll get is ~280MB/s not 1,260 or nearly 3,000.

Something is causing the benchmarks to be way off so you need to sort that so you can benchmark and get the actual speed.

aye it would appear both test prog's are not workning as they should
i downloaded and ran crystal disk mark and got results closer to what i would expect on a sata2 connection

I found i got better speeds on p35/p45 mobo with RST 10.8.0.1003 drivers.
