SSD Prices

Hi OCUK just wondering when you going to make prices competitive with other retailers because so far you are the most expensive place. Just asking as I don't want to use other places, and atm I am just waiting and waiting... and nothing changes

they did lower down the prices of some of the SSDs which 1s are you after?

might be worth posting in the customer service section and see if they will price match the ssd you want?

just saying in other places you can get same SSD 10-20 pounds cheaper so ocuk is losing a bit of a buisness. I will wait but i cant wait for ages

ssd prices seem to be in daily freefall. Almost every day i see at least one ssd cheaper than it was the day before. Ocuk only tends to shirt its prices monthly or weekly at best.

Hard for them to compete with other retailers who change theire prices sometimes more than once in a day!

OCUK seem less competitive than some places for SSDs specifically, but frequently more competitive on GPUs (factoring promotions etc.) or in being the sole stockist for many products.

It may just be a matter of bulk; SSDs are more of a commodity than triple-fanned, LED-covered whatevers :-)

By my estimates SSD prices should ~£100 for a 500GB drive by Christmas.

Its a real shame, I'm the tightest there is and always look for the best deals just brought a ssd 10 mins ago, here it was 25 more expensive here, that's not to say I haven't brought anything off here monitors are well prices, just like to buy more in return for use of the forum.

Sometimes they're a big chunk off the pace on SSDs

shame, for most components I'm happy to buy from them as even if slightly more it's nice to buy from one place and generally good CS too.
