SSD Queries from a Beginner

I'm having my first properly decent PC build soon, heres the build:

(I know there is an SSD info thread, I've read it, I'm just looking for more personal experience and in depth detail about SSD OS setup.)

• Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit SP1 Operating System
• Intel Core i5-2500K (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor @4.5GHz
• Corsair H80 Water-Cooling CPU Cooler
• MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 Twin FrozR II OC 2048MB
• 8GB Mushkin Blackline DDR3 1600MHz
• 1TB Seagate Barracuda SATA III Hard Drive
• Crucial m4 64GB SSD
• MSI Z68A-GD55-G3 Intel Z68 (REV B3) PCI-Express Motherboard
• 750W Corsair TX750 V2 ATX2.3 SLI/Crossfire Compliant Power Supply
• Corsair Carbide 500R Black Midi Tower Chassis
• Sony SH-S222AB/BEBE DVD ReWriter

As you can see, I'm putting a decent amount of money into this, one of the most prominent features being the SSD. It's being set up as the boot drive, with Windows installed to it but...

For all of you in the know, is there anything worthwhile setting up early on and are there any things to be careful with? eg. Partition (whatever that is) *Please excuse my ignorance.

I was going to ask the exact same question as JamesWhite. I've got a Corsair SSD coming from OcUK tomorrow, and I'll be re-installing from a HDD. It's my first SSD. Is there anything I should look out for?

I wouldnt have thought you would want to partition (split into different drive letters) as a 64GB drive is probably better left to just hold your OS and possibly a couple of games/programs (I've got my OS and Steam installed on my 128GB M4 with everything else installed to my HDD)

Don't partition it. Just hit next at the install/format screen. Once installed run the WEI tool. Might want to reduce the amount of space system restore will use too.
