I've just ordered parts for a big upgrade (Gigabyte z77 etc), and also got a crucial m4 SSD to go along with it.
I plan on reusing my current hard drive (A 1TB Sata II), but installing Windows on the new SSD.
My question is this:
Will I be able to first plug in only the SSD, and do a new Windows install on it and set it to the default boot up disk, then plug in my old hard drive and use it as normal (even though it currently has Windows on it)?
I basically want to do this to save me having to format my old hard drive!
Cheers!
