SSD Raid 0

Hi
I have swapped my mobo to Asus maximus 4 and i7 2600k, and was thinking of getting one of these SSD raid kits i.e. 2 x 128 gb drives.
Are they easy to Set up?

Is that a Z68 motherboard? You currently won't get TRIM supported if you raid them, so performance will drop off a bit after a while. You'll get huge boosts to sequential transfers, but may not notice any difference to smaller 4K blocks, so it might not actually make a huge amount of real world difference.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't realise that you have to do an OS reinstall.
I already have Kingston v100, I wonder if I could pair it with another newer gen SSD without issues?

When you Raid 0 drives they have to be the exact same drives.

Some would say it's advisable but they don't have to be exactly the same.
