Today I bought a 2nd ssd so I could take advantage of the raid 0 feature but ran into a few problems.
I am using an asrock extreme7 gen3 mobo, entered the bios and set raid on the storage configurator, once saved and exited bios I press ctrl & I to acces the raid options screen and nothing happens.
If anyone can give me any help on how to go about setting up raid would be much appreciated :)
The ssds I'm using is x2 ocz agility 3 60gb.
Thanks

You will need to make sure that the 2 ssd are on the same Raid controller preferbally the intel ones which are ports
SATA3_0,
SATA3_1

it might be different keys for different motherboards, look in asrock motherboard manual and it will tell you what keys to press to access the raid console

usually its ctrl and i like you said

Cheers for the help guys I have now managed to set the drives to raid but now having difficulties installing windows.
I installed win7 x64 then started installing my mobo drivers which didn't go so well as I was prompted that 1 ssd had failed and now bootmgr is missing :/ so will I need to download the latest raid drivers from intel to prevent this?
Cheers

Edit: the problem was I had 1 of the Sata cables in the wrong port

If you didn't then you should disconnect any other storage drives while installing Windows to the RAIDed SSDs to ensure that's where all the Windows files end up.

I unplugged all my other storage devices except the 2 ssd's I'm trying to use for raid.
I have made a little progress, I can install windows to the raid drives but after about 10mins 1 of the drives fail and I have to reinstall win7 which is making me think it's possibly a driver error but the raid driver i downloaded from intel isn't showing up when I press f6 to load drivers when installing win7.... I did unzip the file aswell before attempting to load
It's just 1 problem after another

you shouldnt really need any raid drivers for windows 7,it will find/install them for you

be sure to update to the latest motherboard bios,it might help

I have managed to install the driver I downloaded at windows 7 install screen it turns out I have a faulty memory stick :( luckily I had a spare one.
I am just installing the motherboard drivers from the disc I received with the mobo I will keep you posted on what happens

After installing the mobo drivers and restarting system for changes to take effect the boot up screen says failed to load os, after a few restarts windows boots as normal so I suppose I'm going to have to live with restarting my system several times before windows boots
