SSD RAID results

I've just done a fresh install of W7 onto 3 Sandforce drives, they're from Mushkin although as I understand it this shouldn't make a significant difference.

A lot of guides I've been reading are referring to Intel RST/Chipset drivers. I had to install the RST drivers during the Windows install, so to enable the write-back cache should I install them again via Windows? What are the Intel Chipset drivers for?

This is the performance I'm currently getting (none too shabby!):

Should I expect any more? Lots of places refer to enabling ACHI, but I have the controller mode set to RAID, and presumably it should stay that way?

RAID gives you all the benefits of AHCI. Why did you need to use the RST drivers during install? I doubt they can even be used in this way.

Sorry, I have got confused - it was the Matrix Storage Manager driver I used during installation. Shall I put RST on now or leave it alone?

Cool, thanks for the help. I'll run ATTO again in a few weeks to see if anything changes without RAID. Hopefully some form of garbage collection will run.

Really impressed overall, I'm sure some of the speed is due to the fresh install, but it is very quick!

It is 3x Mushkin Callisto Deluxe 40GB. AVG just did a whole system scan at a rate of about 100,000 objects per second.
