hi guys
Got got a 64gb ssd SATA III & its great drive :)
Have got two SATA III slots on M/B is it possible ,to have two ssd drives diff sizes ,one with OS & second for games & appz ,plus my 1TB SATA II HD for storage in SATA II slot ?

In RAID0? I wouldn't bother. SSD is lightening fast anyway so running these in these in RAID0 wouldn't see notable gains. Run one with the OS and smaller apps, the second for games (steam, origin etc) and the HDD for all media and larger apps as you have already suggested.

<edit as rps say :) >

AHCI isn't raid, It's a standard imposed by Intel to operate the SATA host bus adaptor. Enabling this provides extended capabilities such as Native command queueing for optimised drive performance. This isn't the same as RAID where data can be written parallel or mirrored across different drives for redundancy and/or performance.

Edit - It will work in normal standard IDE mode but certainly worth activating for SSD for that extra performance. Just select AHCI, then treat it no differently from a basic setup. I always forget to :o
