SSD Raid

Hi,

Ive decided im going to upgrade end of the month as ive not done a proper full upgrade in about 5/6 years and got the best use out of this Q6600 i think i can, got the rest of my setup basically picked out.

Have read you can now do Trim on Raid0 on Z77 motherboards, would it be worthwhile getting 2x 128gb SSD's for my main drive or just one 256gb?

for ease of use ect id choose one single ssd,ssd's in raid you wont see any real world speed difference,and you wont lose any data ect in a non raid should it go wrong

If you have budget for 2 drives you could use one drive as your boot drive and the other as cache for your storage (mechanical) drive.

Probably just go with one drive then just to be safe!
