Hey all!

I got two of these in the post today : Samsung 256GB SSD 830

I'm setting them up in RAID as a programs drive(OS on sperate SSD); currently I'm getting these speeds:

I was hoping to gear nearer 900mb/s seq, which seems more than possible!

I'm totally new to raid and ssd/hdd benchmarking, should I be concerned about the other values?

What can I do to improve the set up?

Are you using hardware RAID or software RAID?

Your using rapid storage drivers, they are using Microsoft drivers also test with atto benchmark, that will be closer to 800/900mb per sec read

No,what you did is right, hence the better scores than in ocuk test, rst drivers are better, the testing software tests uncompressionable data, atto doesn't or other way round can't remember

You should be seeing more read speeds imo,are you using latest motherboard BIOS? And latest ssd firmware? The writes look ok but read speeds should be more
