I'm looking for something to replace my ageing Crucial M225 64gb. I thought it died before but found an sole forum post on the crucial site and discovered you could reset it by leaving it powered up without the SATA connector for a few minutes. I've had to do this twice now which is rather annoying and I suspect likely to eventually lead to a non-recoverable failure so I'm looking for a replacement.
It's only used as an OS drive with all my larger data (games, music, movies etc) on other drives.
I've found 64gb to be enough but the price difference between 64gb and and 128gb is so small it's probably worth going for 128. Ideally looking at a price point of ~£75 but if there's anything a bit over that that's worth the money I'll spend more.
I don't currently have a SATA3 motherboard (Asus P6T SE) but I'm doing a full system upgrade in the very near future so it's probably worth considering.
Can anyone recommend a 64gb or 128gb drive in the £75 region?
Cheers!
