Im currently using Asus P6T so surely I would have to change this to make the move to SSD worth while, the only complaint I have about my Samsung F3 is that its a little slow loading a folder full of photos. If I continue using my F3 for "My Documents" I wont see much difference other than game loading times? Is it worth it?

In a word Yes!

Your P6T would be fine for an SSD , I am using a foxconn x48 board with a 30GB SSD as a boot drive, it is epic boot from complete off to password screen in windows 7 less than 10 secs. It will be the single most best upgrade you make and will give your system a whole new lease of life,

Ahh but it might be the viewing software that's slow? Generally I found switching to an SSD has given my PC all round performance boost. Better than i imagined. Even when viewing pictures and video.

How much memory do currently have?
