I downloaded HD Tune to test my hard drive speed. However, the results where disappointing.
I have the Crucial M4 64GB SSD on the 000F firmware but only 380MB/s average read speed, not the 500mb/s advertised (the highest is 418MB/s, but I think that's an anomaly)
I am running from a SATA 6GB/S port from my motherboard and I am not using the Marvel controllers (which some people say hinder SSD performance). My SSD is also set to AHCI mode.
I then ran HD Tune error check to check the SSD and it came up with no errors.
Is this normal for a M4 Crucial SSD?
